Animal Control

Wolfforth does enforce Texas rabies vaccination requirements and a local leash ordinance. All domesticated animals, including cats, must be confined in a fenced area or restrained on a leash.

Please call 806-855-4120 to check on a lost pet, or to report stray animals. Animals captured by Wolfforth Animal Control personnel will be held in the Wolfforth Kennel for three days. You must provide proof of rabies vaccination and pay a kennel fee of $5.00 per day, per animal, to reclaim your animal from the Wolfforth Kennel.

Solid Waste

Residential garbage service is provided with your City utility account. Each dumpster is shared by four homes and collection days are Monday and Friday. Please securely bag and tie all garbage and keep dumpster lids closed to control insects and rodents. Call 806-855-4120 to report damaged dumpsters or a dumpster that was not emptied.

Commercial garbage service is priced by the number of dumpsters and the number of weekly pick-ups. Contact City Hall for service and fee information.
