Public works is the combination of physical assets, management practices, policies, and personnel necessary for the local government to provide and sustain structures and services essential to the welfare and acceptable quality of life for its citizens.

The City of Wolfforth Public Works oversees animal control. streets, water utilities, sewer service, and much more.

The City of Wolfforth public works department has 13 employees.  Those employees hold 18 different licenses from the State of Texas and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Currently, there are six licensed water operators, six wastewater operators, six customer service inspector licenses, two applicators licenses, and one pesticide applicator.  We are committed to constantly learning how to better the City.
