The City of Wolfforth provides a full level of public services to its citizens, including:
Code EnforcementCode Enforcement is responsible for enforcing city ordinances. The division is authorized to pursue criminal and civil remedies to abate nuisances (high weeds, off-street parking, unsightly conditions, falling fences, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a safe, sanitary, and clean city.
Development
The Development department provides permits and conducts all inspections required for construction within Wolfforth's city limits and offers a variety of development services such as zoning, platting, variances, and master fee schedules.
Emergency Management
The Office of Emergency Management is overseen by the Emergency Management Coordinator. We work closely with our private, local, county and state partners. Our office is responsible for updating emergency operations plans, training, grant research, resource typing and inventory, maintaining databases, mass notification, and outdoor warning systems.
Fire and EMS
Wolfforth Fire Department is a customer-focused provider of fire protection, emergency medical, and related services. We’re proud of our distinguished history of protecting our community and our tradition of service is strong. Our personnel are skilled, dedicated, caring, and courageous. We work in a challenging environment, and we meet the challenge every day.
Library
The City of Wolfforth Library strives to be a cornerstone in the community, to have resources available for leisure as well as learning, and to facilitate activities for children, teens, and adults throughout the year for the residents of Wolfforth as well as the surrounding communities. The Library is located near the intersection of West 82nd Street and Brownfield Highway and provides free services to all residents living within the state of Texas.
Municipal Court
The City of Wolfforth Municipal Court handles Class C misdemeanors, traffic violations committed inside the City limits with citations issued by the Wolfforth Police Department, and violations of City Ordinances. The City of Wolfforth Municipal Court is open Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm to make payments, process paperwork or to explain options available to keep a citation off of your driving record.
Police
The Police department is represented by a group of men and women with varying levels of experience. The Wolfforth Police Department has a dedicated team that ensures that our mission is carried out daily in a professional and courteous way. We are committed to our community and work to ensure a safe environment and a positive experience within the boundaries of our city.
Public Works
Public works is the combination of physical assets, management practices, policies, and personnel necessary for the local government to provide and sustain structures and services essential to the welfare and acceptable quality of life for its citizens. The City of Wolfforth Public Works oversees animal control. streets, water utilities, sewer service, and much more.
Utilities
The City of Wolfforth provides water, sewer, and garbage services to residents and businesses within the City limits. The Utility department strives to be a resident-centered organization, providing accurate and timely utility services that are consistent for all residents. It is our goal to provide superior services so that when you turn on your faucet or flush your toilet, there are no surprises!
