Alarm PermitCity of Wolfforth Ordinance 4.07 specifies that any person, association, firm, business, partnership, or corporation is required to obtain an alarm permit upon installation of an alarm system.
A non-refundable fee of $50.00 is charged for the processing of an application and issuance of an alarm system permit. The fee shall be non-refundable whether or not a permit is issued. When you request a house watch, officers check your residence routinely for the period you request. If your property is occupied during the requested house watch time period, officers will routinely watch for anything suspicious during their patrols. If your property is not occupied, officers will, when time permits, physically check the property to ensure it is secure. Additionally, requesting a house watch allows officers to have the proper contact information in the event there is an emergency.
peddler permit
City of Wolfforth Ordinance 4.02 requires that any person or persons acting as a solicitor, peddler, vendor, or advertising and magazine vendor obtain a license to do so from the chief of police or his designee. It also establishes that it is unlawful to sell and solicit in the city without carrying the license while engaged in such soliciting or selling.
A non-refundable fee of $20.00 is charged for the processing of an application and issuance of a peddler permit. The fee shall be non-refundable whether or not a permit is issued. Each person must have a peddler permit and they are non-transferable. Applications must be obtained and submitted in person at the Wolfforth Police Department at 302 Main St. Wolfforth, TX.
recreational street use permit
City of Wolfforth Ordinance 3.03 allows for the use of a public street or alley for block parties and similar recreational events upon the issuance of a permit from the city.
A non-refundable fee of $15.00 is charged for the processing of an application and issuance of a recreational street use permit. The application must be filed not less than ten (10) nor more than sixty (60) days before the proposed recreational street use. Applications must be obtained and submitted in person at the Wolfforth Police Department at 302 Main St. Wolfforth, TX.
Golf Cart Permit
City of Wolfforth Ordinance 12.07 requires that golf carts operated in compliance with Article 12.07 be registered with the city. Additionally, golf cart permits must be renewed annually. In order to obtain a golf cart permit it must first be inspected, and the following requirements must be met:

- Golf carts shall follow all rules of the road as required by the Texas Transportation Code.
- Golf carts shall carry liability insurance in the amounts required for motor vehicles.
- Golf carts must be equipped with a slow-moving-vehicle emblem that:
- Has a reflective surface designed to be clearly visible in daylight or at night from the light of standard automobile headlamps at a distance of at least 500 feet;
- Is mounted base down on the rear of the vehicle at a height from three to five feet above the road surface; and
- Is maintained in a clean, reflective condition.
- Golf carts must be equipped with the following minimum equipment as mandated by Texas Transportation Code sec. 551.404(a) as amended:
- Headlamps;
- Taillamps;
- Reflectors;
- Parking brake; and
- Rearview mirror(s)
